I’m the type of person that hates shopping for jeans. I usually have to try on at least 10 pairs and multiple sizes in each style. And even then, I’m left feeling discouraged and uncomfortable by the end of the experience. I actually love wearing jeans, I just don’t love the process of finding them. When it comes to jeans, I consider myself a picky shopper—putting extra work into the shopping process ensures that when it comes time to pick out an outfit, the process of pulling from my own closet is easy. Based on these parameters, you can imagine how shocked I was when I went into Abercrombie and ended up loving the very first pair of jeans I tried on. A true story—I’m 27 years old and I found my favorite jeans at Abercrombie. My middle school self would be in shock at my passion for the best Abercrombie denim.

My personal shopping miracle occurred just last week at Abercrombie’s new Fifth Avenue store location in New York City. When I walked into the store I was greeted by warm light, soft music, and a sleek wooden staircase. The store felt more like a luxury hotel lobby than the dark, intimidating Abercrombie & Fitch locations I had grown accustomed to at my local mall.

When I took a closer look at the store’s selection, I was met with racks of size-inclusive options. I would feel equally as comfortable wearing the selection of styles to the office or a trendy dinner spot. I even found myself browsing the lightweight patterned button-downs in the men’s section. I was immediately impressed—but my newfound love for Abercrombie didn’t fully manifest until I went into the dressing room.

Each room was equipped with adjustable lighting which made it easy to look and feel good in everything I tried on. My line-up included a slinky black tank top, a workout dress, and of course, the jeans I simply can’t get enough of.

I fell in love with the High Rise 90s Relaxed Jeans in the Curve Love style. They fit comfortably around my waist (in the way slouchy way baggy jeans should) and had a loose but stylized fit throughout the thigh. I also particularly loved the raw hemline on the bottom of the jeans. The jeans looked and felt like something I would try on from a designer brand like Khaite or Tibi but the price tag was much more approachable.

Not only are most styles priced at under $100, but they have so many silhouettes and washes to choose from. Since acquiring my new Abercrombie jeans, I’ve worn them out to dinner with a cute blouse, on a coffee date with sneakers and I even put them on to work from my couch at home. I might just throw out all of my other jeans and start totally fresh if we’re being honest.

This is the next pair of jeans I’m eager to try from Abercrombie. I love the medium-tone wash and the relaxed fit at the waist and hip. This pair is also available in seven different denim shades.

I love the wide cuff hemline on this pair of jeans. They are fitted through the thigh and flare out ever so slightly at the ankle which makes them the perfect denim option to wear with heels.

This pair of Ankle Straight Jeans were made to fit you and that’s because they come in so many different size options. You can get these in extra-short, short, regular, long, and extra-long length options and in sizes 23-37. Plus, they come in eight different washes.
